Ocean Business 2021, taking place 12-14 October 2021 at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, has opened for online registration. The event promises to bring the world’s ocean technology community together in person for the first time since the pandemic began, with an exhibition of over 360 global companies showcasing the very latest ocean technologies, products and techniques.

Visitors will hear from industry thought leaders, see up-to-the-minute tech in action at the Training and Demo programme, connect with employers at Ocean Careers, attend associated industry events and access a full line-up of social opportunities for networking.

Event Director Cheri Arvonio comments: "After so much uncertainty during the last 18 months, we’re delighted to be back with a landmark event for the industry. We’ve been overwhelmed by the community’s anticipation for Ocean Business 2021, so we’re really pleased to be bringing everyone together again for three days this autumn."

What’s on at Ocean Business 2021?

As well as the main exhibition, Ocean Business boasts a range of exciting show features.

The Training and Demo programme is set to be one highlight of this year’s event. The show has expanded its dockside space to accommodate product demonstrations delivered by selected companies from around the globe. Visitors will enjoy free back-to-back training and demonstration opportunities with a programme that runs to 180+ hours. These sessions allow visitors to see cutting-edge technology showcased in an ocean environment, meet the experts behind the products and have their questions answered.

New for 2021 is the show’s free-to-attend conference, which will see industry experts take to the stage to share their knowledge. Sessions will address both technical and business issues such as net-zero carbon, the Blue Economy, autonomy and more.

Ocean Careers will also run over the three days to provide visitors with advice on career opportunities within the ocean technology, marine science and offshore industries. A number of high-profile meetings and associated industry events will also take place alongside the show, organised by leading industry organisations.
